In 2017, the Policy Board voted to expand the MPO boundary to include the City of Wamego and more of Pottawatomie County along the US-24 corridor. The boundary expansion took effect January 1, 2018
The FHMPO and KDOT requested approval functional classification changes in towns across the region, based on discussions with local staff.
The FHMPO maintains numerous data sets on all transportation related topics. This data is available upon request (see button below). Data is available in spreadsheets and GIS shapefiles. Topics include:
- Roadways
- Sidewalks
- Bike & Trail Infrastructure
- Performance Measures data (Crashes, Bridge Condition, Pavement Condition, ITS, etc.)
