In 2017, the Policy Board voted to expand the MPO boundary to include the City of Wamego and more of Pottawatomie County along the US-24 corridor. The boundary expansion took effect January 1, 2018.

Following the 2020 census, the Urbanized Area Boundary (UAB) and Urbanized Zoning Area (UZA) were updated.

The FHMPO and KDOT requested approval functional classification changes in towns across the region, based on discussions with local staff. ADT data is from the 2020 TDM, with value reflecting the year 2020.
The FHMPO used aerial imagery to create and update GIS data across the region. The report below analyzes all parking spaces in Manhattan in 2024, with comparison to 2020 data.
The FHMPO maintains numerous data sets on all transportation related topics. This data is available upon request (see button below). Data is available in spreadsheets and GIS shapefiles. Topics include:
