Streetscape & Demonstration Project
In the September of 2022, the MPO worked with the NCK Health Collaborative to install a Streetscape demonstration project in Beloit. The goal of the project was to create a visible, safe, and usable connection between S Mill Creek Park and downtown and the neighborhoods further north. Additionally, the project realigned S. Mill St. to its original routing by creating a de facto curb line using paint and delineator posts.
The materials used for the projects were supplied by the Flint Hills MPO.
